Beijing 2022 Day Nine

 After a busy few days, the catchup continued with day nine which saw seven medal events. 


Medals


The Men's Giant Slalom saw GOLD won by Marco Odermatt (SUI) as he finished ahead of Zan Kranjec (SLO) who took SILVER while Mathieu Faivre (FRA) collected BRONZE. 



GOLD for Marte Olsbu Roeiseland (NOR) in the Women's 10km Pursuit as she finished ahead of Elvira Oeberg (SWE) who scooped SILVER while Tiril Eckhoff (NOR) claimed BRONZE

The Men's 12.5km Pursuit saw GOLD won by Quentin Fillon Maillet (FRA) as he finished ahead of Tarjei Boe (NOR) who took SILVER while Eduard Latypov (ROC) collected BRONZE. 


ROC eased to GOLD in the Men's 4x10km Relay with Norway scooping SILVER while France claimed BRONZE




An OLYMPIC RECORD time of 4:03.409 in the Women's 3000m Relay as Netherlands won GOLD ahead of Republic of Korea who sealed SILVER while People's Republic of China took BRONZE

The Men's 500m GOLD was won by Shaoang Liu (HUN) as he edged over the line ahead of Konstantin Ivliev (ROC) who took SILVER while Steven Dubois (CAN) collected BRONZE


GOLD for Erin Jackson (USA) in the Women's 500m as she narrowly finished ahead of Miho Takagi (JPN) who took SILVER while Angelina Golikova (ROC) who collected BRONZE





GB Updates


The Men's rink edged a narrow 7-6 win over China before cruising to a huge 8-2 victory over Denmark.

The Women's rink also secured a huge win over Denmark in this case a 7-2 success.
