Tokyo Paralympics Day Eleven (Catch-Up)

The Mixed Team Recurve Open GOLD was won by RPC after a 5-4 victory over Italy who took SILVER while China claimed BRONZE after defeating Islamic Republic of Iran 6-2.


The Women's Javelin Throw F54 GOLD was won by Flora Ugwunwa (NGR) as she out-threw Nurkhon Kurbanova (UZB) who took SILVER while Liwan Yang (CHN) collected BRONZE

A WORLD RECORD distance of 12.25m in the Men's Shot Put F34 as Ahmad Hindi (JOR) won GOLD ahead of Azeddine Nouiri (MAR) scooped SILVER while Abdulqadir Fiqi (QAT) who claimed BRONZE

A Paralympic Record distance of 8.75m in the Women's Shot Put F40 as Renata Sliwinska (POL) won GOLD ahead of Nourhein Belhaj Salem (TUN) who sealed SILVER while Lauritta Onye (NGR) claimed BRONZE

A GB 1-2 in the Women's 400m T34 as Hannah Cockroft won GOLD in a Paralympic Record time of 1:48.99 ahead of team-mate Kare Adenegan who took SILVER while Alexa Halko (USA) collected BRONZE. GB's Fabienne Andre finished in fourth.

The Men's 800m T34 saw Walid Ktila (TUN) win GOLD ahead of Mohamed Alhammadi (UAE) who secured SILVER while Yang Wang (CHN) claimed BRONZE. GB duo Issac Towers and Ben Rowlings finished in seventh and eighth. 

In the Men's Long Jump T13, Orkhan Aslanov (AZE) won GOLD ahead of Ivan Jose Cano Blanco (ESP) who took SILVER while Isaac Jean-Paul (USA) claimed BRONZE. GB's Zak Skinner finished in fourth. 

The Women's 400m T13 saw GOLD won by Lamiya Valiyeva (AZE) in a Paralympic Record time of 55s ahead of Adiaratou Iglesias Forneiro (ESP) who took SILVER while Kym Crosby (USA) claimed BRONZE

A WORLD RECORD time of 23s as Dmitrii Safronov (RPC) won GOLD ahead of Ihor Tsvietov (UKR) who sealed SILVER while Artem Kalashian (RPC) crossed for BRONZE.

A WORLD RECORD time of 21.91s in the Men's 200m T37 as Nick Mayhugh (USA) won GOLD ahead of Andrei Vdovin (RPC) who took SILVER while Ricardo Gomes de Mendonca (BRA) collected BRONZE

A Paralympic Record time of 11.85 in the Men's 100m T36 as Peicheng Deng (CHN) won GOLD ahead of James Turner (AUS) who took SILVER while Alexis Sebastian Chavez (ARG) crossed for BRONZE

The Men's Long Jump T20 GOLD was won by Abdul Latif Romly (USA) ahead of Athanasios Prodromou (GRE) who took SILVER while Nicholas Hum (AUS) claimed BRONZE

A Paralympic Record distance of 11.37m in the Men's Shot Put F33 as Zakarias Derhem (MAR) won GOLD ahead of Kamel Kardjena (ALG) who sealed SILVER while Deni Cerni (CRO) collected BRONZE

A WORLD RECORD distance of 47.13m in the Men's Javelin F41 as Pengxiang Sun (CHN) won GOLD ahead of Sadegh Beit Sayah (IRI) who sealed SILVER while Wildan Nukhailawi (IRQ) collected BRONZE.

A Paralympic Record time of 3:58.92 in the Men's 1500m T37 as Nate Riech (CAN) won GOLD ahead of Abdelkrim Krai (ALG) who took SILVER while Deon Kenzie (AUS) crossed for BRONZE

The Women's 200m T11 GOLD was won by Cuiqing Liu (Guide- Donglin Xu) (CHN) as she finished ahead of Thalita Vitoria Simplicio da Silva (Guide- Felipe Veloso da Silva) (BRA) who took SILVER ahead of team-mate Jerusa Geber dos Santos (Guide- Gabriel Aparecido dos Santos Garcia) who collected BRONZE

A WORLD RECORD distance of 38.50m in the Women's Discus Throw F37 as China sealed a 1-2 with Na Mi winning GOLD and Yingli Li taking SILVER while Rosa Carolina Castro Castro (MEX) claimed BRONZE

A WORLD RECORD time of 23.02s in the Women's 200m T12 as Omara Durand Elias (Guide-Yuniol Kindelan Vargas) (CUB) won GOLD ahead of Oksana Boturchuk (Guide-Mykyta Barbanov) (UKR) who scooped SILVER while Anna Kulinich-Sorokina (Guide-Sergey Petrichienko) (RPC) crossed for BRONZE

GOLD for GB's Aled Davies in the Men's Shot Put F63 ahead of Sajad Mohammadian (IRI) who took SILVER while Faisal Sorour (KUW) claimed BRONZE

The Women's 200m T47 saw GOLD won by Lisbeli Marina Vera Andrade (VEN) ahead of Brittni Mason (USA) who took SILVER while Alicja Jeromin (POL) collected BRONZE

A Paralympic Record time of 21.43s in the Men's 200m T64 as Sherman Isidro Guity Guity (CRC) won GOLD ahead of Felix Streng (GER) who took SILVER while Jarryd Wallace (USA) collected BRONZE

A WORLD RECORD time of 60s in the Women's 400m T38 as Lindy Ave (GER) won GOLD ahead of Margarita Goncharova (RPC) who took SILVER while Darian Jimenez Sanchez (COL) crossed for BRONZE. GB duo Kadeena Cox and Ali Smith finished in fourth and eighth. 

A WORLD RECORD time of 47.38s in the Men's 400m T47 as Ayoub Sadni (MAR) won GOLD ahead of Brazilian duo Thomaz Ruan de Moraes who took SILVER and Petrucio Ferrerira dos Santos who collected BRONZE

A WORLD RECORD time of 14.11s in the Women's 100m T63 saw an Italian clean sweep with Ambra Sabatini winning GOLD ahead of Martina Caironi who took SILVER while Monica Graziana Contrafatto crossed for BRONZE


The Men's Singles SU5 GOLD was won by Liek Hou Cheah (MAS) after a 2-0 victory over Anrimusthi Dheva (INA) who took SILVER while Nughuro Suryo (INA) collected BRONZE after defeating Jen Yu Fang (TPE) 2-0. 

GOLD in the Women's Singles WH1 for Sarina Satomi (JPN) as she won 2-1 against Sujirat Pookkham (THA) who took SILVER while Menglu Yin (CHN) defeated team-mate Jing Zhang to collect BRONZE.

In the Women's Singles SU5, GOLD was won by Qiuxla Yang (CHN) after defeating Ayako Suzuki (JPN) who took SILVER while Akiko Sugino (JPN) defeated team-mate Kaede Kameyama to claim BRONZE

GOLD in the Men's Singles SL3 for Pramod Bhagat (IND) as he defeated GB's Daniel Bethell who took SILVER while Manoj Sarkar (IND) collected BRONZE by defeating Daisuke Fujihara (JPN).

The Women's Singles WH2 GOLD was won by Yutong Liu (CHN) as he defeated team-mate Tingting Xu who took SILVER while Yuma Yamazaki (JPN) claimed BRONZE by defeating Emine Seckin (TUR). 

In the Women's Doubles SL3-SU5, GOLD was won by Oktila Leani Ratri/Sadiyah Khalimatus (INA) as they defeated Hegang Cheng/Huihui Ma (CHN) who took SILVER while Noriko Ito/AyakoSuzuki (JPN) collected BRONZE after defeating Lenaig Morin/Faustine Noel (FRA).

GOLD for Zimon Qu (CHN) in the Men's Singles WH1 as he defeated Sam Seop Lee (KOR) who took SILVER while Dong Seop Lee (KOR) claimed BRONZE by defeating Hiroshi Murayama (JPN). 


The Pairs BC3 GOLD was won Republic of Korea as they defeated Japan who took SILVER while Greece collected BRONZE after winning 7-0 against Hong Kong.

In the Team BC1/BC2, GOLD was won by Thailand after an 8-2 success over China who took SILVER while Japan claimed BRONZE after a 4-3 success over Portugal.

The Pairs BC4 GOLD was won by Slovakia as they defeated Hong Kong who took SILVER while RPC collected BRONZE with a 5-1 win over Portgual


The Women's Kayak Single 200M KL1 GOLD was won by Edina Mueller (GER) as she finished ahead of Maryna Mazhula (UKR) who took SILVER while Katherine Wollermann (CHI) crossed for BRONZE.

A GB 1-2 in the Women's Kayak Single 200m KL2 as Charlotte Henshaw won GOLD ahead of team-mate Emma Wiggs who took SILVER while Katalin Varga (HUN) collected BRONZE

The Men's Va'a Single 200m VL2 saw Fernando Rufino de Paulo (BRA) win GOLD ahead of Steven Haxton (USA) who took SILVER while Norberto Mourao (POR) collected BRONZE

GB's Laura Sugar won GOLD in the Women's Kayak Single 200m KL3 ahead of Nelia Barbosa (FRA) who took SILVER while Felicia Laberer (GER) crossed for BRONZE

In the Men's Va'a Single 200m VL3, Curtis McGrath (AUS) won GOLD ahead of Giovane Vieira de Paula (BRA) who sealed SILVER while GB's Stuart Wood crossed for BRONZE.


GOLD for Brazil after a 1-0 win over Argentina who took SILVER while Morocco claimed BRONZE with a 4-0 victory over China




A Paralympic Record of 218.2 in the P4 Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 which saw an India 1-2 as Manish Narwal won GOLD ahead of team-mate Singhraj who took SILVER while Seregy Malyshev (RPC) collected BRONZE

A WORLD RECORD of 252.7 in the R9 Mixed 50m Rifle Prone SH2 as Serbia 1-2 as Dragan Ristic won GOLD ahead of Zdravko Savanovic who scooped SILVER while Vasyl Kovalchuk (UKR) claimed BRONZE. GB duo Tim Jeffrey and Ryan Cockbill finished sixth and eighth.

 
The Men's GOLD was won by Islamic Republic of Iran after a 3-1 victory over RPC who took SILVER while Bosnia Herzegovina claimed BRONZE with a 3-1 success over Brazil

The Women's BRONZE was collected by Brazil after a 3-1 win over Canada


The Men's K44 +75kg GOLD was won by Asghar Azizaghdam (IRI) as he defeated Ivan Mikulic (CRO) who took SILVER while Zalnutdin Ataev (RPC) and Evan Medell (USA) collected BRONZES by defeating Francisco Pedroza Luna (MEX) and Andres Molina Gomez (CRC).

In the Women's K44 +58kg, GOLD was won by Guljonoy Naimova (UZB) as she defeated Debora Bezerra de Menezes (BRA) who took SILVER while Janine Watson (AUS) and GB's Amy Truesdale claimed BRONZES by defeating Rayeheh Shahab (IRI) and Yuliya Lypetska (UKR). 


The Women's GOLD was won by Netherlands with a 50-31 victory over China who took SILVER while USA sealed BRONZE with a 64-51 win over Germany. 

The Quad Singles GOLD was won by Dylan Alcott (AUS) with a 7-6/6-1 success over Sam Schroder (NED) who took SILVER.

The Women's Doubles saw Diede de Groot/Aniek van Koot (NED) win GOLD after a 6-0/6-1 victory over GB duo Lucy Shuker/Jordanne Whiley who took SILVER while Yui Kamji/Momoko Ohtani (JPN) collected BRONZE after winning 6-2/7-6 over Ziying Wang/Zhenzhen Zhu (CHN). 

In the Men's Singles, Shingo Kunieda (JPN) won GOLD with a 6-1/6-2 victory over Tom Egberink (NED) who took SILVER while GB's Gordon Reid defeated fellow Brit Alfie Hewett (6-4/3-6/7-5).
