Milan Cortina Paralympics Day Four

Day Four- Tuesday March 10th


Wheelchair Curling-Mixed Team- GB's
hopes in the round robin continued to suffer with an 8-6 loss to Italy and in the Mixed Doubles semi finals, China secured their place in the final with an 8-3 victory against Latvia while Korea advanced by winning 6-3 against United States. 



Para Alpine Skiing- Women's Alpine Combined Vision Impaired 
saw Veronika Aigner (Guide- Lilly Sammer) (AUT) finish ahead of Chiara Mazzel (Guide-Nicola Cottini Cotti) (ITA) and Elina Stary (Guide- Stefan Winter) (AUT) while GB's Menna Fitzapatrick (Guide-Katie Guest) placed ninth. The Women's Alpine Combined Standing was won by Ebba Aarsjoe (SWE) as she finished ahead of Aurelie Richard (FRA) and Wenjing Zhu (CHN). The Women's Alpine Combined Sitting saw Audrey Pascual Seco (ESP) finish ahead of Anna-Lena Forster (GER) and Sitong Liu (CHN)

A first medal of the Games for GB came in the Men's Alpine Combined Visual Impaired as Neil Simpson (Guide- Rob Poth) finished behind Giacomo Betragnolli (Guide- Andrea Ravelli) (ITA) and ahead of Johannes Aigner (Guide- Nico Haberl) (AUT) while GB's Fred Warburton (Guide- James Hannan) failed to finish. The Men's Alpine Combined Standing saw Arthur Bauchet (FRA) win ahead of Federico Pelizzari (ITA) and Thomas Grochar (AUT). The Men's Alpine Combined Sitting was won by Jeroen Kampschreur (NED) ahead of Rene de Silvestro (ITA) and Niels De Langen (NED)


Para Cross-Country -Women's Sprint Sitting saw Oksana Masters (USA) finish ahead of Yunji Kim (KOR) and Shiyu Wang (CHN). The Men's Sprint Sitting was won by Zixu Liu (CHN) ahead of Cristian Westmaier Ribera (BRA) and Yerbot Khamitov (KAZ). The Women's Spring Classic Standing saw Vilde Nilsen (NOR) finish ahead of Sydney Peterson (USA) and Natalie Wilkie (CAN).

The Men's Spring Classic Standing was won by Raman Svirydzenka (BLR) as he finished ahead of Sebastian Marburger (GER) and Benjamin Daviet (FRA). The Women's Spring Classic Vision Impaired saw Anastasia Bagiian (RUS) win ahead of Linn Kazmaier (GER) and Jihong Cong (CHN). The Men's Spring Classic Vision Impaired was won by Jake Adicoff (USA) as he finished ahead of Shuang Yu (CHN) and Zebasttian Modin (SWE).
