Milan Cortina Paralympics Day Three

Day Three- Monday March 9th


Wheelchair Curling Mixed Doubles - GB
duo Jason Kean/Jo Butterfield came from 10-4 behind against Italy to force an extra end at 10-10 but lost out 11-10 and miss out on the semi finals. The Mixed Team had an even worse day as they lost 7-6 to Korea and 6-5 to Sweden. 


Para Alpine Skiing Women's Super-G Vision Impaired 
saw Chiara Mazzel (Guide- Cottini Cotti ) (ITA) win ahead of Veronika Aigner (Guide- Lilly Sammer) (AUT) and Alexandra Rexova (Guide-Sophia Polak ) (SVK) while GB's Menna Fitzpatrick (Guide- Katie Guest) finished sixth. The Women's Super-G Standing was won by Varvara Voronchikhina (RUS) as she finished ahead of Aurelie Richard (FRA) and Ebba Aarsjoe (SWE)The Women's Super-G Sitting saw Audrey Pascual Seco (ESP) cross in front of Momoka Muraoka (JPN) and Sitong Liu (CHN). 

The Men's Super-G Vision Impaired  was won by Johannes Aigner (Guide- Nico Haberl) (AUT) ahead of Giacomo Bertagnolli (Guide- Andrea Ravelli) (ITA) and Kalle Ericsson (Guide- Sierra Smith) while GB's Neil Simpson (Guide- Rob Poth) and Fred Warburton (Guide-James Hannah) placed in fourth and twelfth. The Men's Super-G Standing saw Robin Cuche (SUI) cross in front of Patrick Halgren (USA) and Jules Segers (FRA). The Men's Super-G Sitting was won by Jeroen Kampschreur (NED) ahead of Jesper Pedersen (NOR) and Andrew Kurka (USA).
