Alpine Skiing Women's Downhill saw Breezy Johnson (USA) (1:36.10) edge the win by 0.04s ahead of Emma Aicher (GER) (1:36.14) while Sofia Goggia (ITA) (1:36.69) finished 0.59s off the lead but the headlines mid event came as Lindsey Vonn (USA) crashed out and was airlifted for treatment.
Cross-Country Skiing Men's 10km+ 10km Skiathlon saw Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo (NOR) (46:11) win in a tight finish as just 2.1 seconds split the medals as Mathis Desloges (46:13) and Martin Loewstroem Nyenget (NOR) (46:13.1) while GB's Joe Davies (47:35.9) finished in 16th.
Snowboard Women's Parallel Giant Slalom saw Zuzana Maderova (CZE) win the Big Final against Sabine Payer (AUT) while in the Small Final, Lucia Dalmasso (ITA) edged past teammate Elisa Caffont (ITA). The Men's Parallel Giant Slalom saw Benjamin Karl (AUT) win the Big Final against Sangkyum Kim (CHN) while Tervel Zamfirov (BUL) won the Small Final via a photo-finish edging out Tim Mastnak (SLO).
The Women's Big Air saw mixed success for GB as Mia Brookes qualified for the Monday's final in fourth spot on 167 points, just 5.25 points off the lead while Maisie Hill finished 29th with 77.25 points.
An OLYMPIC RECORD of 6:03.95 in Speed Skating Men's 5000m saw Sander Eitrem (NOR) win by 2.53s ahead of Metodej Jilek (CZE) while Riccardo Lorello (ITA) finished 5.27 off the lead.
Luge Men's Singles was won by Max Langenhan (GER) (3:31.191) which included TRACK RECORD as he finished 0.596s ahead of Jonas Mueller (AUT) (3:31.787) while Dominik Fischnaller (ITA) (3:32.125) finished 0.934 off the lead.
Figure Skating Team Event saw a narrow one point win for USA (69) ahead of Japan (68) while Italy (60) finished nine points off the lead.
Curling Mixed Doubles - GB duo Bruce Mouat/Jennifer Dodds suffered their first defeat of the round robin with a 7-6 loss to Switzerland but ended the day on a high with a 9-6 win over Italy to end the stage top with eight wins and one loss. They face Sweden in the semi finals while Italy/USA will battle in the other semi final on Monday.
