A great morning for Great Britain at Eton Dorney as George Nash and William Satch secured a bronze in the Men's Pair followed by Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins cruising to gold in the Women's double sculls and the morning ended with Alan Campbell clinching bronze in the Men's single sculls after a very energy sapping race.
Jess Ennis got her heptathlon gold chase off to an amazing start as she blitzed home in the 100m Hurdles in 12.54 seconds and sets a new British record and the fastest time by a Heptathlete and Dai Green reached the 400m hurdles semi-finals in 48.98 to win his heat.
Karina Bryant loses her Judo semi to her Japanese opponent but claims a bronze medal after winning the bronze mdal match against Ukrainian Iryna Kindzerska to double the target for Judo medals for GB and puts GB on 19 medals and still in 4th on the medal table.
