Medals didn't come today for the first time since Day 1 but the foundations for further medals were laid. In the 1500m, Lisa Dobriskey qualified for the final automatically and Laura Weightman qualified via a photo finish but Hannah England missed out after finishing ninth.
Lawrence Clarke finished fourth and narrowly missed out on bronze in the 110m Hurdles final and sad news as Daniel Awde bowed out of the Decathlon competition due to a knee injury he suffered in the Long Jump. In the Boxing, Nicola Adams guaranteed a silver by reaching the gold medal match of the Women's flyweight 56kg.
No further medals but still looking good in the medal table...
